This Death Valley Days Story is more of a romance piece than an action western. It's about finding your true love and one guy's rather conceited opinion of himself.
Bill Sheldon is all set to marry Helene Marshall in San Francisco, but he's still got a wild oat or two to sow. He's going out to Nevada at the turn of the last century to sow them in the gold fields where there has been a new strike.
Of course he doesn't bother to write and Garr Nelson's interested in Marshall as well. They marry when she gets tired of waiting.
This does complicate things. But in the end everyone gets for whom they are intended.
More romance than action here, still a nice story.
