This episode might be for the birds. Still it's got enough laughs. And Dennis and Tommy get a good project. It's a wonder Mr. Wilson really isn't penniless, which is the storyline in a misunderstanding episode involving dieting. In this short Dennis has to be able to solve a mess involving the stock market and college initiation. Then again the solution isn't always to Mr. Wilson's liking. Maybe it was a relief to the cast to move on to something else. Herbert Anderson did a good job playing the father. He had a memorable part in Magnificent Yankee. This is his iconic role. Still it's Mr. Wilson who is called on to carry these movies. The result is comic gold. No wonder this show became part of the Saturday morning lineup after it went off the air.
