Alice Ghostley, the empress of comedy.

Warning: Spoilers
Most comics on stage and screen have the secret desire to be dramatic actresses, not realizing the joy that they give to the world and specially the fact that comedy is often more difficult than drama. Alice Ghostley was not one of those, knowing that with a voice like hers, and that fantastic delivery, she was meant to make people laugh and truly enjoyed it. Suzanne gets to be sentimental in this episode, becoming sad when she sees Bernice after she has rhinoplasty and comes out looking like Miss Piggy. They do not want to hurt her feelings so they try to avoid starring at her but eventually, Bernice catches on and is upset that they didn't tell her the truth. Even as a funny lady, Alice Ghostley aged beautifully, and while little clips up her nostrils did alter her greatly, you can't hide her natural good looks. Individual lines make this a laugh out loud funny episode, and yet, you wish that they had simply told her the truth in a sensitive manner. One of the all time classic "Designing Women" episodes, and one worth seeing over and over.
