The outside of the house that Anthony is working on ,is the house from the TV series Family.
Ambassadors to the Court of St. James are those representatives of foreign (non-Commonwealth of Nations) countries accredited to the United Kingdom and its monarch.
Suzanne berates Julia about making snide comments about Ron and Nancy Reagan in this episode. The remarks Julia makes revolve around her admiration for Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter who have devoted themselves to charitable and humanitarian causes since leaving the Whitehouse whereas Julia feels all the Reagan's do is make money from profitable speeches they have been giving since leaving the Whitehouse. This political commentary is the viewpoints of series producers Linda Bloodworth-Thomsen an ardent Democrat who had much admiration for the Carters and much disdain for the Reagan's. In contrast Dixie Carter was an ardent Republican an admirer of the Reagan's. Ironically Thomason was also a big supporter of Bill and Hillary Clinton who are mentioned throughout the series and even wrote a season seven episode about the woman attending Bill Clinton's 1993 presidential inauguration. Much like the Reagan's the Clinton's in the decades after leaving the Whitehouse would also embark on a seven figure per speech lecturing tour.
Charles Levin appears in seasons 5 & 6 as different characters.
