- Dharma notices a tile is loose and has Larry come over to fix it. He opens up the wall, creating construction problems that escalate until Greg has a blow-up with him and throws him out of the apartment.
- Greg is in hospital, and Dharma tortures the worried Montgomery parents by telling them in inconsistent flashbacks how it all happened. It started when her dad Larry came help repair some loose tiles in the bathroom, but they made a huge hole in the exterior wall; every attempt by Greg to get some damage undone results in worse throughout the apartment, a contractor he asks for an estimate can't even come within a reasonable time yet charges $435 for an hour doing nothing and beats Greg up, so it's back to do-it-yourself with or without loony Larry...—KGF Vissers
- Dharma is at the hospital filling the forms for Greg. Kitty and Edward come in all concerned and want to know what had happened. Dharma recites the story in a flashback.
Greg is forced to go with the flow when Larry makes a few improvements in the bathroom. It started as a small project to fix the 2 loose tiles but ends up with a new window on the side of the bathtub. Larry makes a hole in the wall and Dharma suggests to in frosted glass bricks so that Greg can have his privacy. Larry asks Greg to use his van to bring glass bricks from the hardware store. Greg has to hot wire the van, since Larry doesn't have the keys, and ends up electrocuting himself.
Jane ends up helping Greg hot-wire the van. Greg gets the supplies from the hardware store, only to find that Larry has made the hole in their bedroom ceiling as well. Larry wanted to check what would be the best spot to install the skylight. Just then it starts raining. Greg kicks Larry out and goes to the roof to patch the holes that Larry made in the ceiling. The ceiling caves and Greg falls into his own bedroom.
Greg calls a contractor, who won't patch the holes before a month and charges Greg $437 just to put some temporary tarp to cover the holes. Greg calls him a thief and refuses to pay, and the contractor assaults him, when Greg stops him physically from removing the tarps.
All through the narration of the story Kitty is anxious to understand what the reason is why Greg ended up in the hospital. But at each stage Dharma replies that this is not the reason why Greg is in the hospital. Kitty wants Dharma to get to the point, but Dharma wants to tell the story her own way.
This is when Dharma brings back Larry so Greg and he can sort out their issues together. Dharma tries a therapy where both Larry and Greg have to express their anger towards the other by screaming on top of their lungs. Greg refuses to participate as he feels weird in this exercise. Larry wants to hug Greg, but he won't do that either.
Greg decides to fix the bathroom window by himself, but Larry says that the glass windows have changed the energy of the room. The sink does not like the glass bricks. Larry has also taken out the ceiling fan from the bathroom, as he wants to paint a mural on the ceiling.
Larry convinces Greg to abandon the window project to go see a Santana concert in a bar. Greg loves Santana. Larry says that when Greg is old, he will not remember fixing the wall, but he will remember seeing Santana from less than 2 feet away. It wasn't a Santana concert, and Larry was dropped on his head at the concert. Greg has fun with Larry and comes home happy. Dharma convinces him to have sex out of page 61 of the Kamasutra book and he sprains his penis and ends up in the hospital.
Dick Clark pays a visit during Edward's surreal flashback sequence.
