- Minding the Finkelstein house while they travel 'up' to Washington is bad enough for Greg with female furniture sex-suitability suggestions, worse is hearing that's D.C., for a Senate meeting on an environmentally challenged bill his parents also fly to -actually on the same plane. Worst is when the dogs dig up human bones, which Dharma knows to be Uncle Henry 'Pinto', illegally buried, and workmen are about to lay pipes just there.—KGF Vissers
- Larry and Abby are going away for the weekend to Washington to participate in a protest march and Dharma and Greg are house-sitting. Dharma and Greg cannot use the garbage disposal especially if there is water running through it. They have to uncover the solar panels for hot water, but the panels cannot be uncovered for more than 20 minutes else the oak tree will burst into flames. Plus, the water really doesn't get hot at all.
While spending the weekend at Dharma's parents' house, Abby shows Greg all the places that will hold their weight for sex. The kitchen table is nice in the morning with sunlight hitting it directly. Greg can't sleep in his in-laws' bed as they have sex there.
Meanwhile, Larry and Abby run into Edward and Kitty on a flight to Washington DC and discover that Edward is testifying before Congress on an environmental issue that Larry and Abby are protesting. Kitty and Edward are in first class, while Larry and Abby are flying coach. Kitty avoids the Finkelstein when they first enter the plane, by pretending to kiss Edward, thereby hiding both their faces from them. Larry sees them when he insists that he has a legal right to use any bathroom in the flight, while arguing to use the first-class facilities.
Greg fears they're in grave danger when an old family friend shows up unexpectedly-Nunzio and Stinky dig up his skeleton in Larry's garden. Greg inspects and finds the body of an uncle in the backyard. Larry buried him in the backyard to honor his last request. Abby grows her tomatoes next to the grave and Greg loves them. Dharma stops Greg from calling the police since that would get Larry into trouble. Dharma digs a deeper grave, reburies the bones and plants daisies on top of it. The next day Greg stalls the public works people from digging till he can stash the body in a better location. The public works people want to lay some pipes through the backyard and their route will take them directly through the grave.
Greg calls Larry in Washington to take permission to move the body. Larry does not have a cell phone. So, Greg calls Edward, who had to get up in the middle of his Senate testimony, to go outside and get Larry on the phone. Larry promised the guy that this would be his final burial ground and refuses to move him. Meanwhile Dharma refuses to relent in front of the public works team leader and says that she will not move her daisies.
Greg ignores Larry and eventually moves the body, only to find that the PWD has rerouted their pipes to avoid the daisies that Dharma is so keen to protect. The body was buried under the daisies. But their new route is the location where the body is buried now. The public works eventually find the body, but simply lay pipes around it instead of calling the police, because they don't want to work beyond 5.
Edward gets the bill passed for offshore drilling rights.
