Veritable cast of TV doctors
safenoe27 October 2020
One of the many things I like about Diagnosis Murder is its ability to bring together a stellar-themed cast. Here most of the guest cast have previously played TV doctors, e.g. Jack Klugman from Quincy, M.E., Wayne Rogers from M*A*S*H, Chad Everett from Medical Center and Bernie Kopell from The Love Boat. It's hard to believe this episode was broadcast over 20 years ago. Yet DIagnosis Murder endures.

Enjoyable, historical, and a surprise ending!

I really enjoyed this episode. It was challenging to follow along with Dr. Mark Sloan and family and figure out who killed the victim.

It was fun to see all the TV doctors from other shows playing doctors in this episode, and challenging to name them all and where they were from. Many of the doctors were from shows that people born after 1980 probably wouldn't recognize.

The surprise ending was great, and but also sad. Even though I had seen this show before, I must have blotted out the memory of the end because it was too traumatic for me... Let's just say I love this person, and I didn't want to see them in this light. Watch the show to figure out what I mean.

TV doctors and murder

A medic dies from an apparent heart attack while in the middle of performing surgery. Of course, Dr Sloan suspects foul play and sets out to prove it. An inspiring cast including Bernie Kopell, Chad Everett, Jack Klugman of Quincy, all TV doctors and some red herring as well as an explanation of how the victim was murdered prevent this falling into an average category.
