Guest starring Ted Danson

Warning: Spoilers
A galaxy of comedians guest star in The Roast, playing fictional characters and you can tell they are all having fun working together on Diagnosis Murder as they roast Dr Mark Sloan. Anyway, the icing on the cake is the special guest appearance at the denouement by Ted Danson playing himself at the end and his appearance is a sly and wry reference to his infamous roast of his then girlfriend back in 1993 and the fallout from that. In fact, Ted Danson slyly and wryly refers to that at the start of his roast of Mark.

One thing, I'm desperately looking for the final two Diagnosis movies: Town Without Pity and Without Warning. For some reason they're not online.

This episode is my favorite because my name is really LORRAINE KAY. The funny thing is that before this like back in the 80s when Julie Duffy was on Bob Newhart all my friends used to jokingly call me Miss Stephanie because I am blond and had a thing about clothes and shopping and other Miss Stephanie things. So when I saw her playing Lorraine Kay it freaked me out. How cool was that? Plus I love everything Dick Van Dyke does and have since his show in the 60s. I am also a big mystery fiction fan so for me to have one of my favorite actors doing a mystery show was really awesome. I was sorry to see the show end and hope they will do some movies of the week like Murder, She Wrote and other series.
