What a surprise to find Dana Andrews and Bob Redford in this episode. I would have never guessed the two of them play together. Dana Andrews plays here a novelist who finds his son again - Redford - after after a long time of separation. As you have understood, that's a drama here, a father and son scheme. Nothing special. The most useless here is Inger Stevens presence between the two men. The producers needed a woman and they chose her. A story in which many audiences could recognize themselves, and that's where you may take a good look at it. And it's worth only for this point of view.
So, to summarize, watch it for the Redford Andrews face to face, nothing more.
