Well-made episode with a few minor annoyances.

Warning: Spoilers
This is a pretty-good episode. The lady singer/ actress that was on the tv show "Peter Gunn",Lola Albright, plays a convincing part as "Paula Marshall" a lovely, spoiled and manipulative actress that is used to getting her way almost always. Rob Petrie gets stuck working with this attractive headache. Rob takes the part of producer of the tv show after the usual producer Mel is 'fired' by the demanding "Paula Marshal" and then she demands that Rob be the producer. Rob's wife Laura over-reacts to the whole scene (as usual),and this puts even more pressure on Rob. The good natured Rob is being pressured by the goofy actress to do all sorts of outlandish things on and with the TV show. Rob goes along with several crazy requests during rehearsals but showtime/showday is approaching quickly. Rob is going to have to find some inner-strength to deal with this tricky situation, yet he still must be tactful with the spoiled actress and keep Laura happy also. Can he,will he succeed? Watch and see and please let us know what YOU think about it ! Easy 8/10.

A prima donna actress single-handedly ruins the show.

The guest on "The Alan Brady Show" this week is a very temperamental and obnoxious actress. Paula (Lola Albright) has already gotten Mel laid off for the week and now the fill-in producer, Rob, is having his hands full with this 'lady'. Her demands are unreasonable and she behaves like a person who simply has never been told no. How is Rob going to handle her and how does Ritchie, somehow, give him the inspiration for how to deal with her?

While not a very funny episode, it's a good one and probably has a lot of truth to it. I am pretty sure the three show producers had had their fill with actresses like this...and it seemed like their way and the writer's way of handling it. Well worth seeing.

By the way, I do appreciate Ms. Albright playing such a horrid person. It took some guts.
