- Tony: [ordering sizes for new uniforms] Dolly?
- Dolly Belfield: What are you having, Jean?
- Jean: What are you having?
- Dolly Belfield: Well, small!
- Tony: Jean?
- Jean: Small.
- [walks away]
- Dolly Belfield: [whispering] Tony, can you make mine a medium?
- Tony: Eh?
- Dolly Belfield: The new uniform. I mean obviously I'm small, but perhaps I'd be better off wearing a medium, just for armpit leeway.
- Tony: Okie dokie.
- [shouting]
- Tony: Jean! Dolly's changed hers to a medium. Do you want a bigger one as well?
- Bren: [Bren and Tony are arguing over moving to Scotland as Jean and Dolly arrive] Maybe you should go on your own.
- Tony: I don't wanna go on me poxy own, do I? I wanna be wi' you, don't I, you snot-brained halfwit.
- Jean: She wrote some wonderful things, Jane Austen.
- Dolly Belfield: Jean, if Tony and Bren are having a little private disagreement I think that we should just go very discreetly into the office.
- Jean: I don't, I think we should stay here and take sides.
