Since I still remember this and I was only seven and found photos of the real Comanche on the internet and a photo of him in a laundry mat of all places , I know its the same horse cause the same man is standing next to Comanche and in the background are many dead horses and teepees of the dead Indians that died in the battle. The horse was captured by a young Indians boy Sal Minoe and broke but eventually becomes a cavalry mount and becomes the only survivor in that historic battle of Custard's last stand. I was very young at the time only 7 when I saw this story but already loved horses and never forgot this tail and then I found the original horse on the internet
