"There isn't a po under my bed!"
ShadeGrenade29 October 2006
Warning: Spoilers
Duncan is having problems with a cantankerous elderly patient named 'Mr.Golightly' ( Sydney Bromley ). Among his numerous demands are for a chamber pot under his bed at night. Duncan points out that the toilet facilities on the ward are more than adequate, but the old boy is having none of it. Meanwhile, complaints from patients reaches a record high, thanks to the 'Patients Protection League' - founded by none other than Dick Stuart-Clark. Dick's latest money-making activities include putting flowers in the wards, and selling revolting chocolates to patients. Duncan must put a stop to these wheezes, especially as the Board of Govenors has a new member - the fearsome 'Mrs.Emmeline Broadway' ( Betty Marsden of 'Round The Horne' )...

I have a few complaints regarding 'Any Complaints?'. Phil Redmond's script is fairly dire, containing little by way of a decent plot or jokes. Marsden ( of 'Round The Horne' fame ) is wasted. Fran Fullenwider, who plays the sex-mad 'Angela Daniels', was an actress with a distinctive physical shape who later found notoriety as one of 'The Transylvanians' in 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show'. Sydney Bromley was the farmer in the 'Stop - You're Killing Me' serial in 'The Two Ronnies'.

Funniest moment - determined to prove to Duncan he has had a bath, Mr.Golighty exposes himself to a ward full of female patients.
