The homestead is a one room cabin. It is unclear where Colleen and Dr. Quinn store all their clothes and fancy hats.
The time between when the students take the territory exam and when they get the results is unclear. Based on the other story line, it appears that the results came in one or two days. Considering that this was a contest across the entire Colorado Territory and everything was done by hand, it is illogical to believe that the results could be issued in two days.
