First of six episodes in which Joe Lando (Sully) does not appear. Lando disagreed with executive producer/creator Beth Sullivan concerning the direction of his character and that of the series in general, and suggested that Sully be killed off. Upon learning that Lando might be replaced by John Schneider, fans launched a campaign called "Save Our Sully." Lando returned to the series "part-time," (presumably with no decrease in salary) freeing him to pursue other projects.
While Michelle Bonilla originated the role of Teresa Morales in Season 5, Alex Meneses played the character for the remainder of the series starting with this episode.

According to online reports, Michelle Bonilla was replaced because of lack of chemistry when she did not mesh well with the cast.
