  Brian Cooper : Hey Loren!

  Loren Bray : [Tips his hat and addresses Sully somewhat dejected]  Hey Sully. Happy Valentine's Day.

  Byron Sully : What are you doing out here?

  Loren Bray : Waiting for the stage. I've got a delivery coming in.

  Byron Sully : [Surprized]  Way out here?

  Loren Bray : I don't want nobody in the town to see it. It's a surprize for Dorothy. Although the longer I sit here and think about it, the more I feel like just getting on that stage and riding on out of here.

  Byron Sully : Not to Bolivia again?

  Loren Bray : Any place'd be better than here. I can't stand the thought of one more day in that town with her, letting her walk all over me, the way she does.

  Byron Sully : Women are hard to figure sometimes.

  Loren Bray : You've got that right. No matter what you do, it's not enough.

  Byron Sully : But you keep doing it, and you know why.

  Loren Bray : Yeah I know, 'cause I'm a blind fool, that's why.

  Byron Sully : 'Cause you're in love.

  Loren Bray : I wish to God I wasn't, would make my life a lot easier.

  Byron Sully : Think about it Loren. About the time she had that operation, you almost lost her. Think about the way you felt then. That's what you would be feeling now if you go on that stage coach.

  Loren Bray : What are you doing here? Dr. Mike said you was off at some Indian conference.

  Byron Sully : I was. I left early.

  Loren Bray : Why?

  Byron Sully : 'Cause I'm a blind fool.

  [Sully glances meaningful at Loren. Brian smiles in the shrubs and starts writing in his note book. Sully rides on to town]
