The new Alien guy!

The Drew Carey Show episode "What the Zoning Inspector Saw" is an entertaining 8 out of 10, blending sharp humor with the show's signature absurdity. The plot centers on Drew's home facing scrutiny from a zoning inspector after an unfortunate series of events, leading to the usual hilarity and over-the-top antics the show is known for.

Drew's exasperation and efforts to fix the mess while navigating Cleveland's bureaucratic nonsense are perfectly in tune with the show's working-class humor. The supporting cast, especially Lewis and Oswald, shines with their usual bizarre but hilarious schemes, adding great moments to balance Drew's more grounded storyline.

While the episode follows a familiar formula, the witty writing and physical comedy deliver plenty of laughs. It doesn't hit the emotional highs of some other episodes, but its solid humor and chaotic scenarios make it a fun, memorable addition to the series.
