Chicago Holiday: Part 1
Prismark104 October 2020
Fraser spends his time playing chaperon to a 16 year old brattish daughter of a Canadian diplomat staying in Chicago.

The daughter Christina just wants to have fun and rebel. Fraser takes her to a nightclub of her choice. It turns out to be the risque type.

The club is also being staked out by the police including Ray. He is looking for a list from a prominent underworld murder victim.

The list is in a matchbook that has names of drug distributors and dealers. Somehow the matchbook ends up in Christine's handbag.

This was the first of a two parter. I did think it was being stretched out. There were just too much time spent on the club patrons for a start and their outfits. The chase scene with the red London bus seems to have been a marathon.

Much better was the various travels of the matchbook flitting from different people.

At the end it looks like Christina is in peril. Maybe it will teach her to sneak out in a major city.
