One of the best episodes of Season 6

What can I say about this amazing episode. This is one of my personal favorites. I love the idea of Luke having a long lost brother who comes to him for help. For the character Jed, I really like him as he fells like a good brother fit for Luke. Though, it's a shame that this is his only appearance in the show and I really wish we could have seen more of him. As for the car chases, they are once again exciting to watch. When Luke almost gets killed but ends up surviving (though blacked out), it leaves you wondering if he would be all right. Of course, we obviously know he will. I know he should have listened to the others warnings to stay, but it does make sense why he didn't because he wanted to help his brother. Also, the underwater shots are quite well filmed and the camera work like in all of season 6 is great. Overall, this is an amazing episode and I recommend it to any Dukes of Hazzard fan.

Brilliant, especially for season 6

One of the 10-15 good episodes from seasons 6 and 7. After Coy and Vance's terrible season 5, the quality went even further down. In seasons 6 and 7 there was a pretty good to brilliant episode every three episodes. This is one of the absolutely brilliant ones. It almost ranks up there with the best episodes from season 1 of the show. The acting is great, every character is used to their fullest and there are some GREAT car scenes. I would've liked to see Jud return in later episodes, but unfortunately he didn't. Such a missed opportunity. Obviously they were running out of story lines if they used robots/aliens later on. They could've just used Jud again.
