"The St. Vallentine's Day Massacre"
MrTideman30 June 2008
Warning: Spoilers
"Gary travels back in time to 1929, and is the proprietor of a speakeasy at the location where McGinty's is currently located. Gary must try to prevent the St. Valentine's Day Massacre."

The spoiler: This is the episode where Gary tells some 1920s kid to take a hike AWAY from the gun battle, Gary buries a gun in the wall there, then years and decades later the son of the boy he saves visits McGinty's and Gary finds the gun in the wall to prove that it was not a dream.

The boy saved is Detective Crumb's father! Crumb was talking with Gary about the good 'ol days his father used to tell him about, and so a relay of this information to Gary of the next generation. Gary thinking of there being a crate of these old bottles from the 1920s down in the basement to celebrate with, (+/or was it an electrical failure? - the lights flickering, and so him zapped by the electricity from the fuse or circuit-breaker box) and so a walk down the stairs to there turned into not just hearing of this turning point in Crumb's father's life, but for Gary to actually be "the" one making the turn in time.
