When John Is making his bed, you see the clock behind him showing 11:10 then not even three minutes later they show the clock again it shows almost 8:25.
At the beginning, John Gage is mopping the floor and there is water on the floor and a mop bucket. When called out for the first run of the show, Gage leaves the mop bucket in the middle of the floor. The shot of the trucks leaving the station, however, shows no water or mop bucket.
When the truck is getting ready to pull out the Captain jumps in and you see his fire suit, turnout, already in the truck in the middle of the seat. The truck starts to toll and the shot cuts to the truck turning. Suddenly the Captain is fully dressed.
On the elevator rescue, Truck 8 is dispatched with Stn 51 ... but the firefighters at the scene have "127" on their helmet shields. Station 127 is, of course, the actual station that plays "Station 51" in the show.
Johnny & Roy return to Station 51 after the methane call. (Scene 2) They enter the kitchen, it is empty, Roy even looks at the open books on the table. Johnny takes a call, when he finishes the alarm goes off. The John and Roy jump up to leave, Chet bolts from near the stove & Marco from the right. They were not in the room at the beginning.
In the train yard the sound mixed in sounds of steam engines starting up and pulling. Highly unlikely at that time there were any steam engines working freight there.
At the end, after Sharon winks at Dixie and the man takes off the oxygen mask, Sharon tries to put it back on the man's mouth. But the mask slips out of the actress's hand and smacks the man in the face, causing him to visibly wince. The actress obviously starts to laugh at her mistake just as the scene cuts away.
On the DVD version at least, Roy repeats a line regarding keeping the EKG going while the patient is extricated from the elevator. This may be an editing error or DVD authoring error - the initial contact with medical control (Rampart Base) appears to have disappeared.
During the elevator rescue, Dr. Bracket orders the paramedics to defibrillate the female victim. Firefighter Chet Kelly stops giving chest compression, and they defibrillate, then report success. But Chet resumes giving chest compression, which would no longer be beneficial.
Johnny mentions subbing for Kirk on B-shift. Later he says that Cynthia chasing him is Kirk's fault for switching shifts. If Kirk can sub for Johnny he must be a paramedic. However later Kirk comes in and says he traded shifts with Chet. He could sub for Chet as a firefighter, but Chet would not be able to trade for a paramedic's shift.
