When the crew is eating lunch, Gage's hair is its usual length, but on their first call, Gage is seen going into the squad with a new haircut. The rest of the episode his hair is longer.
A Mayfair ambulance picks up a patient with Paramedic Gage. One of the ambulance attendants in shown riding in the back with Gage. A later shot of the ambulance driving shows both ambulance attendants in the front of the ambulance then cuts back to an interior of the ambulance with the second attendant still in the back.
In the initial traffic accident scenes the police car is parked close to the damaged vehicles. When they have the driver out and are getting him on the stretcher and into the ambulance the wide shot shows the police car moved further back although the officer has been helping with the rescue. This is just before the accident vehicles explode.
When responding to a nighttime fire, the footage of station 51's squad and fire engine driving to the fire shows the original 1965 open top fire engine used as Engine 51. The engine used for the rest of this episode is the 1973 closed cab version.
When the station crew are arguing, Stoker pushes his chair back to respond to the station alarm before the alarm sounds.
At the first rescue, John tells Rampart "Pulse is 100. Stand by for BP and respiration." Roy says BP is 130/80 and pulse is 20. John asks "what's the respiration?" Roy quietly replies, "Respiration is 20."
