The vintage firetruck is a 1934 Dennis Ace Braidwood. Fitted with a 4-cyl, 3.7 liter gasoline engine delivering 60 horsepower. According to the book "Emergency!: Behind the Scene" by Richard Yokley and Rozane Sutherland" the Ace was sold mostly in Britain, with some going to New Zealand, Australia, and India. According to company records none were ever sold in the US (p. 97).
The other stations dispatched to the structure fire are Station 36 in Carson, Station 19 in LaCanada Flintridge, and station 8 in West Hollywood.
The street where the fatal traffic collision involving the man having a heart attack and the station wagon occurred was filmed (Claybourn Avenue and N. Valley Street in Los Angeles) was also used in "Gossip" (S4, E3), where the first collision between the armored truck and the car happened.
