It has its moments. It's unfortunate that it really doesn't showcase the women paramedics that it purports to showcase. It spends a lot of time talking about how the women will eventually get in over their heads and will not be able to do the job. A lot of the movie feels like a daytime soap.
That being said, it's certainly not all bad. It has some good Emergency! Moments and it's good to see Johnny and Roy again. Although I see why it didn't sell a new series, the problems with traffic congestion and the pier rescue were quite good. I'm not sure the series ever had quite the pyrotechnics that this movie did.
Neat "classic" cars!
