- After Silik attacks Trip, Vosk wants to make a deal with Archer: supplies of the ship for the completion of his time machine in return for a trip to the 22nd Century.
- The crew of Enterprise is still trying to find out why they were brought back by Daniels to the 20th Century. Back on Earth Silik has entered the complex of Vosk, where he attacks Trip. Meanwhile Vosk finds out Trip and Mayweather are not temporal agents. He contacts Archer for a meeting to return them and make an offer for a deal. He wants supplies from Enterprise to complete his time machine and in return send Enterprise back to its own century. Archer tells he'll consider the offer. Back on Enterprise he soon notices Trip is not who he appears to be.—Arnoud Tiele (imdb@tiele.nl)
- Germans control the Eastern US, including the white house. The aliens are stalling handing over critical tech to the Germans, which would help them win the war. The Germans are getting tired of this and stop giving supplies to the Aliens. Alicia wants Archer to use the Enterprise to defeat the German Nazis, but Archer says he will do it another way. Meanwhile Tucker and Mayweather are tortured for information and later provided medical attention (after it is established that they are from the future). Silik reaches out to Tucker in the holding cell.
Lieutenant Malcolm Reed (Dominic Keating) finds the point of divergence in the time-line: the 1916 murder of Lenin, where witnesses claimed Lenin's killer "vanished into thin air." The removal of Lenin prevents the October Revolution from successfully taking place, causing Hitler to disregard Russia as a threat, and the full weight of the Nazi war machine is then directed at Western Europe and the United States. Vosk seeks an alliance with Enterprise, releasing Mayweather and Tucker in hopes of forging a new understanding with Archer. Vosk tells Archer that the temporal agents who have sent Archer to the past are serving their own interests.. Vosk admits that he doesn't like the Temporal Accords, but says that time travel is technology that should be used for the benefit of everybody. Vosk promises to send Archer and his crew back to his century, but wants the resources aboard the Enterprise to complete his machine.
Medical scans soon reveal that Tucker is actually Silik in disguise and he and Archer realize they need each other's help. Vosk figures that Archer has Silik in custody and wants control over his interrogation. Archer refuses and Vosk attacks the Enterprise with his ground based phase cannons. Archer and Silik agree to work together to destroy Vosk's facility and to prevent him from returning to the future. Silik reveals that Vosk tried to eradicate the Suliban and Daniels helped the Suliban.. Silik still considers Daniels his enemy, but will work to stop Vosk. Archer & Silik enlist the help of the Resistance to destroy the shields of the Na'Kuhl complex and to help rescue Tucker.
Before they can complete the mission, Silik is killed by a guard near the conduit, and Archer is nearly shot by a confused Tucker (who cant believe that Archer is still alive). With the alien shields down, Enterprise then completes an atmospheric entry (They could not fire from orbit as the targeting arrays were offline), flying over New York City (while being attacked by air-crafts built by Vosk) and destroying the alien facility with photon torpedoes. The episode ends with Daniels showing Archer the threads of the time-line resetting themselves back to normal, as the Temporal Cold War finally ends with the death of Vosk. Archer demands that Daniels should never visit or bother Enterprise again. With their mission completed, Enterprise finally arrives back in its proper time period, where the crew are welcomed and escorted home by an entire squadron of Starfleet and alien vessels.
