Poor Max...
planktonrules15 December 2019
Max Griswold (Arthur Hill) used to be a master bank robber. However, he's sick of the life and retired some time ago...and is now living a respectable life. But he cannot stay out of the business, as an old associate (William Windom) has kidnapped Griswold's estranged son--threatening to kill the young man unless Max cooperates and leads a gang on their next robbery!

This first part of the two-parter concerns the kidnapping as well as Griswold's agreement to join the gang in the robbery. The episode ends with one of the team's experts telling them that the job is nearly impossible....but if thye cannot do the robbery, what of Max's son?

This is an interesting episode...made all the better because the gang is made up of a plethora of 1960s TV guest stars--the sorts of fellows folks of that generation recognize instantly. Very exciting and well worth seeing.
