Pretty standard stuff...but handled quite well.

"Incident in the Desert" begins at a wedding reception. Just after the bride and groom leave, a gang of four masked thieves arrive and rob everyone. Soon the police and FBI are looking for them because they cross the state line into New Mexico. In fact, they are almost caught there by a local cop...but they are able to escape after knocking the cop unconscious.

Soon the crooks arrive in an itty-bitty town in the middle of no where (presumably somewhere near Roswell). They check into a tiny hotel but are soon recognized when there is a radio announcement about the fugitives. So, they take the entire itty-bitty town captive...and wait until their confederate arrives with his airplane. Can the FBI catch them before someone is killed?

This is a good episode and I was surprised to see Dabney Coleman playing an action hero-type guy late in the episode. There is a funny mistake, however, at the end. Coleman is able to capture one of the gang...just as the FBI arrives. When the agent finds the pair (Coleman holding a gun on one of the fugitives), the agent automatically assumes the man being held is the crook...though the FBI had no clear identification on the four! In fact, the agent has his back to Coleman...who has a gun and he doesn't tell Coleman's character to drop the gun! A tiny mistake...but one I noticed.
