You certainly WON'T forget this one!

This installment of "The F.B.I." stars Colleen Dewhurst as Mrs. Ducette...an incredibly disturbed lady from an episode which reminded me a lot of the film "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?"! It's disturbing and strange...and an episode you won't soon forget!

The story begins with a babysitter absconding with a baby...presumably because the child has the same name of the lady's own baby! After stealing a couple cars, she makes her way to her sister's house....a woman who is completely frightened of Mrs. Ducette. And, you soon surmise the reason...her sister apparently lit her on fire long ago!! So, it's apparent that Decette is psychotic, vicious and dangerous...and she's got an innocent baby! Can Erskine and the rest of the agents find her before something horrible happens to this baby? And, the further you watch, the more you realize that Ducette is a serious risk to the child.

The ending makes this one....it's creepy, weird and simply amazing. Overall, a creepy and frightening story that leaves you practically breathless. Well worth seeing and a great showcase for Dewhurst.

Colleen Dewhurst showcased her acting skills to the hilt. And how about the brief screen appearance of Janet Waldo? A definite must-see!

An Atypical Episode from Season 1

A quite atypical storyline that might fit an "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" or "Outer Limits" episode, especially when I heard some re-orchestrated music cues that were used in "The Outer Limits" composed by Dominic Frontiere. As Music Conductor for the first 2 seasons, he did provide some cues though he was not credited for those cues. A delight for Frontiere fans!
