The story begins with Inspector Erskine in Mexico in order to escort Maria Sandoval to the United States. It seems that she's the cousin of a Central American dictator and she wants to testify before Congress about how evil and awful the man is. Little do they know that an agent working for the dictator (Alejandro Rey) is also aboard the tiny plane and he's NOT going to allow Sandoval to testify and plans on returning her to her country to stand trial. The problem is that there's a storm and the plane crashes...and the kidnapper insists on marching them through the desert to his country...many hundreds of miles away....which is really insane when Ms. Sandoval breaks her ankle.
This is a good episode of "The F.B.I."...nothing special but well made and compelling. If you care, you can also see Norman Fell among the kidnapped passengers.
