The episode begins with a very violent and angry guy convincing his weak-willed girlfriend (Karen Black) into helping him kidnap some industrialist's son. Once they get the teen, she is kind to him whereas it's obvious the boyfriend plans on killing him. Can Erskine and the rest of the FBI possibly rescue the victim before the angry guys bumps him off just for kicks?
An additional plot involves TWO ransom demands--one real and one from an opportunist close to the family of the kidnapped guy. This subplot helped to make a good episode even more interesting.
