- Quotes
Oscar: [to Pascale] New jacket? You bought it at the store?
Balthasar "the Ball" Boma: That's not something you get at the fish market, Oscar.
Oscar: Did you buy that for her?
Balthasar "the Ball" Boma: [sarcastically] No, Saint Nicholas showed up.
Oscar: [loses his cool] Have you - ?
Carmen: [she intervenes] Stay calm, Oscar. Get me another cup of coffee.
Oscar: [angry] Taking my job wasn't enough, uh? Now, you're taking my wife?
Balthasar "the Ball" Boma: She came to me herself. She drove with me. I took the van.
Oscar: And she couldn't get out, am I right? Hold me back or I make him eat 100 kilos of his sausages!
Balthasar "the Ball" Boma: Are you seeing this? You've been married to this caveman for twenty years.
Dimitri: Caveman. Hahaha.
Oscar: She still is!
Pascale: Oscar, stop it. It was my idea to get away from you.
Oscar: What? Your idea? What does that wiener have more than I do?
Dimitri: Wiener. Hahaha.
Carmen: Don't be silly. Do something.
Dimitri: [steps up to Oscar] Cool down, Oscar.
Oscar: The first person willing to touch me better books a hospital room.
Dimitri: You know, I can't stand that hospital fragrance.
[sits down]
- Crazy credits"THE ORIGINALS" message appears in a framework at the start of each intro with theme song from De nieuwe truitjes (1990) to Love Story (1993), to honor the titles with Carry Goossens (Oscar) in the lead and Walter Michiels (Pico) co-starring. This has been the case for all re-runs and DVD and Blue-ray releases since the 2010s.
