David Spades' debut on TV?
HUXLEYedwards13 June 2007
THis one caught me off guard. I was channel surfing tonite and came across the 3rd last Facts of Life and saw David spade spewing his sardonic humour on the set of what looked like an unfamiliar show. Didn't really watch FOL in the last 2 seasons it was on, and this was the funniest episode due to David Spades presence. !!! According to IMDb, this was his first appearance on a TV series/sitcom. Recommended for a laugh and when David (who plays a med student) tries to be very serious at the end of the episode, you can see him trying VERY hard not to Crack up! That's the funniest part! :D Anyways, i guess it was his only appearance on the show, since the last 2 episodes focus only on that Blonde gal from the south Blair. Seth Green shows up on those episodes as well as Juliette Lewis!

Cringeworthy spinoff attempt. Not funny. Wasted budget.

Warning: Spoilers
Tootie and Natalie go to Soho New York so Tootie can audition for a part. They stay at an apartment of an old friend of Natalie's, where four strange people live. Natalie decides she wants to live there with them. This is a spinoff attempt.

I love Mindy Cohn and her character of Natalie and would have liked to have seen more of her, but this spinoff attempt was stinky. Not funny and frankly cringeworthy to watch. I just wanted to ff through it. Why does Natalie want to live there exactly? The place seems overcrowded. These people are complete strangers. I know Nat was a bit of a wanderer wanting to experience different things in order to inspire her writing, but the only thing these people inspired was boredom.

A couple of cast members for the potential spinoff included David Spade(Just Shoot Me, SNL, Joe Dirt), and Richard Grieco(21 Jump Street).

I don't know? I just feel like they wasted money on this when they could have been using the money for a better send-off for the girls and the show. 3/10.
