Natalie is ahead of the times as she sets up computer dating for Blair and Jo.

Warning: Spoilers
Natalie sets Blair and Jo up for computer dating without their knowledge for a term paper she is writing.

The premise is funny. Natalie herself spots a hunky guy at the dating service and submits her own entry lying to fit what the guy is looking for. The funny thing is Jo's date and Blair's date actually turn out to be friendly likable guys. Blair and Jo don't have romantic feelings with them but admit to Natalie whom they were initially furious with, that they now have two new friends that they have things in common, and that they can hang around with sometimes.

Mrs. Garrett pans the idea of this type of dating saying that people find each other because of chemistry, and that love cannot be found by a computer. Well, we've come a long way since then Mrs. G. And the growth on online dating platforms, and their successes have indeed redefined how dating and love happen for a certain portion of the population. I mean think about it, after a bunch of failures in relationships, all you have to do is write down everything you like and are looking for and submit it to a site. You can communicate back and forth in emails and eventually choose to meet each other. It must be nice for some people to meet others that they have things in common with. Perhaps love will happen, perhaps it won't. I've also heard, and known a few people that have met their significant others in online gaming.

I know. The whole thing seems weird. But it's a reality that is happening today. Natalie was indeed ahead of the times, and some would argue that she was right about her idea that romance and love can be found on the computer. Tho not without the people's permission. But that was part of the comedy in this episode.

I love that Natalie set herself up to get with the hunky guy. He turned out to be a boring, no personality guy. Lol. Kind of sums up the fact that some people do indeed lie on those online dating services. Anyway, I thought the episode was funny and Natalie's machinations were funny. 8/10.
