The kids' Aunt Fran wants to take Cissy and Buffy back to live with her and send Jody to another relative.
One of the best and most touching episodes. Louise Latham (she was Tippi Hedren's mother in "Marnie") returns as Aunt Fran, the one who dumped the kids on Bill. Buffy overhears Bill saying he is stuck with the kids when he has to babysit them. This makes her think that they are in the way and probably should leave Bill. It looks like the kids will leave but a tearful goodbye suddenly makes them and Bill realize they want to stay.
