The girls meet their upstairs neighbor Laura London, a Broadway actress who tells them they have talent.
A very entertaining Season 2 show. It is helped by the performance of former movie star Joan Blondell as Laura. French thinks she is "coarse" but Bill is a big fan of hers. He gets worried when the girls say they want to quit school. The best scene is when Cissy and Buffy do a version of "Let Me Entertain You" from the musical "Gypsy". Anissa Jones is a bit off key though. After speaking to Bill, Laura gives the girls a honest talk about the loneliness of the business.
