Buffy and Jody have a new friend Marilyn who is Chinese and speaks no English, French had learned some of her language and tries it out on her.
A funny episode, probably the best one for John Williams' Mr French. It seems French is trying to compliment the girl but it comes out as an insult. Her father goes to Bill to explain, he is played by Richard Loo, a character actor of many films including "The Steel Helmet" and "The Purple Heart". French also tries out the language on the girl's mother and grandmother for one of the funniest scenes.
