A funny episode.

Warning: Spoilers
Chris is about to enter the Soap Box Derby, but he's not enthusiastic and wants to leave the Scouts, trouble is he can't find a way of telling Peter. Instead Chris wants to explore his artistic side and continue drawing.

A hilarious opening sees Stewie walk in on Peter and Lois making out, his reaction is so funny. There are some funny moments, especially that line Stewie delivers with the jelly ' I feel like I'm on the QE2,' so funny. I think the second part is a little bland in comparison, but still makes for a very funny episode.

Now can they hear Stewie or not? Haha. 7/10

Kind of entertaining, Not enough attention is given to Chris's drawings

That seriously feels like 1-2 minutes at the max of the episode.

I like that Lois lost all of her money at the video poker machine instead of the slots.

Would've loved more of a strong conflict with them getting their car back.

This episode just, wasn't funny to me.

This was the funniest episode in awhile. The jokes were really consistent and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Pretty Darn Funny!

The sixth episode of Family Guy is pretty funny and is one of the best episodes yet. It has a consistent array of hilarious jokes, although some may be rather racist. If you are Native American or Hispanic, perhaps you may be somewhat offended. But the jokes are definitely funny and I loved the scenes where Peter and his son go out into the woods to find their true calling.

This episode, "The Son Also Draws" gives more significant air time to the Griffin's son, Chris. After Chris quits boy scouts, the family take a trip to a Native American resort where it turns out that Lois gambled away the family car.

Overall, this is quite a good, funny episode which is nice to see as we are nearing the end of Season One. It's nice that we finally get to see more of Chris and his family relationships. And of course, I just love Stewie and his antics. I rate this episode 9/10.

This is easily my favorite episode of season one. It's the most hilarious yet while also providing great social commentary about father-son bonding.

Really funny and a good story

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is great, Chris doesn't want to be in the Boy Scouts instead he wants to draw, unfortunately it's kind of dropped with Lois losing the car in a Indian casino but the ending is great with Peter accepting Chris but looking at it in a disapproving way when they hug.

Out of the 6 so far this is the funniest.
