Maybe a bit too crazy...

At this point in the series, Michelle Thomas' health problems were becoming quite obvious. Her physical appearance was distracting to the story. I think it was a mistake to have Thomas continue to play Myra. They had already deleted Judy Winslow from the show's history, and there was suddenly a different Harriet. A different actress as Myra would have been noticeable, but not as disconcerting as Michelle Thomas' sick appearance. The episode is good, but compromised by the all-too-obvious.

Crazy for You: Part 1 (#9.14)

Warning: Spoilers
Steve asks Laura out and she agrees. Myra tries her best to make Steve come back to his old self with polka and cheese but she fails and the date is still on

Eddie decides to become a cop but he fails an exercise where he shoots some cardboard civilians

While I liked how Steve and Laura may end up together, this episode makes me think otherwise. How shallow is Laura! Nothing wrong with Steve trying to improve himself in being less clumsy, but giving up on interests such as polka because its not "cool" is not improvement, its now being true to oneself. And if Laura really wants such changes she is not worth him. Then Myra is a better choice. Plus who the hell is she to be mad at him for Myra if she still goes out with Stefan?

And who is this woman playing Harriet?? They couldn't keep her for the last few episodes?
