We're Going to Disney World: Part 1 (#6.22)

Warning: Spoilers
Urkel is a finalist of a great science contest with his transformation machine that will take place in DisneyLand! And he takes Winslows with him. During the finale Laura breaks the machine to keep Stephan. It will take several days to fix it so they have time together until the decision is made

Ah those Disney episodes, always having something sweet about them!

In this one I particularly loved to see Carl when he looks around and decides to have fun as well as him shacking his bum with Donald Duck. VelJohnson was once again great.

I also loved the moment when Eddie realizes that they are going to Canada.

And it had some great settings! The cozy hotel, the 90's clothes at the finale, the movie area, all beautiful, made me want to go there.

And the end of Laura as a princess was surely aimed at small girls, I found it cheesy, they sure loved it. Ah yes, the indoctrination of prince fantasy on little girl, right ther.

Steve (and Stefan) in Disney World

Warning: Spoilers
This two part episode was the only place where the validity of Urkel's transformation chamber was questioned. At the Science Fair, the David L Lander character accuses Urkel of being a fraud. The accusation was not without merit. Steve stepped into the chamber, and came out with different clothes and a different overall dynamic. This actually is nothing that could not have been done without the aid of scientific equipment. Realistically, Steve's transformation to Stefan could have been attributed to a "split personality." Although he played an unlikeable character, David L Lander was one of the best guest stars to appear on the show. His character raised a valid point, which seemed to elude everyone else. Despite some musical "time fillers," the first part of the episode was well done.
