Caroline Heymans, a blind young woman, is strangled at home and exposed in a shocking way. Profiler Robert Nieuwman sees in this method the signature of an assassin who also made three victims in The Netherlands. Merel gets provisional charge over the investigation, but Britt feels that she is insecure and interrupts a family outing in Paris to help her partner. For a start she is not very impressed by the theories of Nieuwman.
