That's really about it . The manic pace and over the top Pebbles and Bamm Bamm in show business takes away from what could have been a nice little episode . That it's just a dream is probably for the best although it could have be a good time to let the kids actually start talking in this episode.

I think it would have worked better if they had just made the little song they sang a one hit wonder and not brought in all the other things the child psychologist, the contracts and Fred and Barney trying to kidnap the kids . Dreams are wild but I didn't care for all that .

Rebuttal to previous review

This episode is really so outstanding !!!

I dont know who wrote that terrible review and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but that opinion is simply so ludicrous !!!

For one thing, it's a cartoon. In the cartoon world, anything is possible, hence, an anvil dropping on the head with no injuries. Look at loonytunes cartoons. Cant examine every little detail.

Secondly, at the end, it does explain that it was only a dream. This happens alot in dreamworld whether ttelevision or reality.

Thirdly, the song, 'Let the sun shine in' does tell a moral just like most of their episodes.

Bottom line is that it's a cartoon. You said it right. Cartoons are a form of escapism.

Enjoy it, not examine it !!!

Let the sunshine in

Warning: Spoilers
Absolutely great episode. The sixth season doesn't get better than this. "Let the Sunshine in," as performed by Pebbles and Bamm Bamm, always gets me emotional! The scene where Fred first hears Pebbles and Bamm Bamm singing is interesting. Fred, about to take a nap, closes his eyes for a second. He opens his eyes because he hears the kids singing. This scene is not coded as a dream, because it didn't look like Fred actually fell asleep. Everything about this episode is superlative. The kids sing the same song at least five times, but it's still not enough! I could have watched and listened much longer. Pebbles and Bamm Bamm singing was one of the cutest, sweetest things shown in any cartoon. How could they sing when they couldn't talk? Who knows? They sounded good! Curiously, the ending of the episode confirmed that Fred was, indeed, having a dream. Yet, Wilma has a record of 'Let the Sunshine in." Maybe dreams can come true.

The Shark beyond belief

The kids can sing lyrics but not talk? Oh my God. This is so dumb it defies belief. And sadly on a show that has usually had clever, smart writing for much of its run. This one is pure escapism and has funny moments but it makes no sense and is poorly written otherwise.
