Sister Bertrille, the Kleptomaniac?
JordanThomasHall3 September 2018
Carlos asks the convent to watch after "a cute little fellow" named Pepe. They are surprised when he brings a monkey, but Reverend Mother Placido allows Sister Bertrille to take the responsibility. Capt. Fomento informs the convent that a series of burglaries has occurred in the area. Naturally the culprit is the chimpanzee (as we've seen overplayed time and time again on shows), but the items are found in Sister Bertrille's room and Reverend Mother Placido and Sister Jacqueline uncharacteristically suspect her. Sister Jacqueline spies on her in town where she assumes more evidence against her. It is now felt that Sister Bertrille has a mental illness and is a kleptomaniac.

A weak, predictable plot with Reverend Mother Placido and Sister Jacqueline acting out of their established, respective characters. I personally found it so misdirected that it was hard to watch.
