Exposing The Flying Nun
JordanThomasHall14 September 2018
Since being fired from a Miami newspaper, Joe Barnes (Larry Storch, "F Troop") has moved to San Tanco unsuccessfully writing a book. When he sees Sister Bertrille flying he plans to photograph the spectacle for a story that would net him "a small fortune". The convent learns of the situation and instructs everyone to not say anything about her ability. Joe poses as Father Flaherty, a visiting priest from Nigeria who comically tries to adjust to his rouse. He learns from one of the children (Christine Matchett) that Sister Bertrille is The Flying Nun. To get his photograph he begins staging incidents that might require Sister Bertrille to fly. Things take unexpected turns when a photograph is taken, however.

Larry Storch's comic antics aids greatly to a fine episode. Beautifully weaving humor and heart, this is one of the best episodes of the series.
