A caller sets the hook on this one. A woman whose husband may be having an affair with a rich married woman is at the center. Oh, by the way, he is a master swordsman. This leads to Niles believing that Maris (61 home runs in 1961?) is the rich woman. There is a hilarious sword battle (who would have thought Niles had so much in him). Anyway, there are some really rich moments throughout this episode.

Warning: Spoilers
This is one of the best episodes of 'Frasier' series 2, and perhaps the whole 11 years of the show in general.

Farcically funny and with some great performances, it's the show at its best, ticking all the boxes that make 'Frasier' so good.

It's not been the most consistent series in my opinion (though from watching the creators interviews on the DVD) I know they disagree, but this certainly is a shining example of why 'Frasier' works.

Another goof

Frazier tells the caller that he does not speak German but at Woody's wedding on Cheers he effortlessly translates German with an enraged husband.
