You Can't Go Home
Hitchcoc21 October 2019
At the coffee shop, Frasier runs into the woman that everyone desired in high school. She still looks good and he mumbles and sets up a date with her. It turns out that she is a harsh, chain smoking, insensitive divorcee. He is conflicted after gettin serious for just a bit. As a very short subplot, Niles and Daphne have an interesting moment.

Jean Smart!
david-ddrew21 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
What a pleasure to see her appear on this show. I've been a huge fan of hers, and she kills it in just about everything she's in, this show being no exception. I've never seen a side character so deftly steal the scene from Kelsey Grammer as effortless as Smart does during her monologue as they're entering the reunion party. You'd think it was her show.

Notably, the first glimmer of Daphne reciprocating Niles' affections appear on this episode and it's a really sweet and tender moment the writers wisely do not undercut with one of Niles' weird pervy remarks (though it's almost jarring since he's spent 7 seasons now hopelessly pining over her). It definitely plays out well and makes you happy the story seems to be going that direction.

This is absolutely my favorite episode! Jean Smart was an absolute riot. No wonder she won an Emmy. If you want a really good laugh, this is the episode to watch.

Two Good Scenes In One Episode That Cannot Be Forgotten
IcyTones16 July 2020
1. The Subtitle: '2 Good 2 B 4gotten'. Frasier gets a shock when the sophisticated Lana turns vile and screams down the phone "Put Your Brother On', 'Put Your Brother On', Put Your Brother On The Phone'" - each time getting louder & louder. I get like that when I can't find the tv remote. 'Where's the remote control? Where's the remote control? Where's the remote control? I bet so-and-so's taken it'.

2. The Subtitle: 'Ah! There's The Rub'. It's Daphne's first affectionate move on Niles. For seven long years Niles has been waiting for this moment. I love this scene. It's a shame that the scene slipped into archives oblivion. Frasier wasn't just about Frasier. For some of us Frasier was about Niles & Daphne. '2 Good 2 B 4gotten' should have been its subtitle.

Another woman for frasier..
twanster-9765527 April 2020
Another episode where frasier some how gets a beautiful woman to bed and then dumps her.. As the show progressed frasier went from a lovable hopeless romantic to a womaniser. Every woman he dates is unbelievably beautiful and after bedding them, he nit picks their faults and dumps them. He really lost his charm as the show progressed. This episode has some funny moments, particularly niles but unfortunately the constant repeating theme of frasier bedding woman became very trashy after a while. I often wonder how much better the show would have been if they'd settled this ageing therapist down with a realistic woman.
