Storyline

Frasier is looking forward to his first visit from Frederick in time for Christmas, but when the visit is canceled, Frasier takes out his disappointment on his family. He and Martin end up having a vicious argument, and Frasier chooses to spend Christmas Day at the station rather than with Martin. After spending a day listening to Seattle's loneliest and most depressed people, Frasier trudges to a seedy diner for his Christmas dinner, but gets an unexpected boost of Christmas spirit from the regulars. Could Have Been More

Frasier is disappointed when his son can't come to stay with him at Christmas. He gets into it with Niles and his father and decides he wants nothing to do with the holiday. So he goes in and works in place of Bulldog. Some rather touching things transpire, but it seems sort of sad and empty instead of uplifting..
