Why did they get rid of Kate?!

Warning: Spoilers
I loved the character of Kate Costas and her relationship with Frasier was one that played out in such a well-written manner. When you rewatch the series, it seems like she was only in the series for five episodes, which is a real shame.

This is one of her best episodes. As station manager, she has to lay down the laws and discipline workers that get out of line. That takes an interesting turn here. Plenty of great story-telling and hilarity.

Frazier and Kate have this sexual magnetism. The have at it in the studio and some of it goes out on the air. But there are complications involving because Frasier is known but Kate is not. They end up in a freight elevator and some interesting things occur as a result.

The Best!

I absolutely love this episode! One of my favorite (if not my very favorite) episode(s). It is hilarious when Niles wrecks his car hearing Frasier and Kate over the air! And the reactions of Martin, Daphne, and everyone at the radio station just cracks me up!

It was rotten that Kate suspended Frasier for a week, yet she got no repercussions for being the other person in the Bad Boy and Dirty Girl broadcast.

I really wish they had kept Mercedes Ruehl on the show longer. Kate and Frasier were really good together!

And Peri cracked me up when Roz asked Frasier if he could help Kate with her s*x life so she wouldn't be so focused on work. Frasier tells her he tried! Funny stuff :-)
