Roz introduces Frasier to her new boyfriend. The guy, played by Gary Cole, is a bit of a soldier of fortune and a philanderer. He finds Frasier interesting and they develop a bit of a friendship. Frasier encourages him to write a book about his around the world adventures. The problem is that Roz is in the picture and Fraser doesn't want to betray her. Oh, just by the by. Daphne seems to be eating a lot and is putting on weight. Are we moving toward a pregnancy?

Warning: Spoilers
Without a doubt this is the best episode of 'Frasier' so far in its eighth series, displaying a bit of the verve and farcical elements that were common place during the so called 'glory' days of series one to seven.

It's the first time in a while that Roz features heavily, and when used correctly the character is a good partner in crime for Frasier.

There's some nice moments here, with the scene in the coffee place especially being a level of quality we haven't seen from the show in a long time.

I didn't rarely care for thin B plot involving Martin and Niles, and the increasing attempts to hide the real life pregnancy of Jane Leeves, but on the whole, this was a marked improvement on what has come thus far in the eighth year.
