And the winner is...

Everyone is excited that the Beach Boys will be in San Francisco. Danny is looking forward to have them on the show. Notice that we never see Becky? I'm guessing she only has certain guest appearances this season to test her character out? Anyways, the Beach Boys cancel their appearance meaning none of the men get to meet them.

That evening, a local radio station puts two tickets up on a contest. D. J. wins, but she can only choose one person to go with her. Who will she choose? After making her choice, arguments break out so she decides not to go at all.

Then the Beach Boys show up. This was a pretty good episode with the Beach Boys playing a couple songs.

Always Great!

Warning: Spoilers
Sometime after the death of Beach Boys drummer Dennis Wilson in 1983, they got John Stamos as a touring member in Dennis' place. As the star of the show, it was only natural for the Beach Boys to appear on his show. This is their first of a few awesome episodes.

Danny takes Jesse and Joey on the set of "Wake Up San Fransisco" to meet his guests: The Beach Boys! Unfortunately, fog has prevented their plane from landing in San Fransisco. Later, DJ wins tickets to their concert in a contest over the phone. The clincher? She can only bring one guest, and she lives in a "Full House." (pun intended) The household tries to win her affections, but she doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. Eventually, the Beach Boys come to the house and after a while of jamming together, invites the whole family to their show. The Tanners eventually get to perform with the band. LUCKY!!

Before we see the band, the talk surrounding them is really cool. DJ likes them, Danny and Joey reminisce, etc. When they come, it is so cool to see. They are living legends, even for 1988! It looked like they were really trying to promote their last big song "Kokomo" from that year as it is sung more than once in the show.

At the concert, field goal posts are shown and audience members behind the stage, so we all know where they really are!

Warning: Spoilers
Not the best in terms of plot - DJ never had to make a choice and Jesse/Joey never really ask the Beach Boys to listen to their music sample (though Joey does sneak the sample tape to one of the members.)

But this memorializes The Beach Boys - both in a house setting and in concert. Wish they would have said who's who though.

It may be my imagination but Joey seemed a little intimidated by the band in the house scene, especially when singing. Or perhaps he was directed not to steal the scene. The other cast members really got into it, especially and obviously Jesse.

In short, would've liked more plot but you can't go wrong with 10 minutes of beach boys singing and playing.
