Whenever another culture is added to an American sitcom and done properly, it usually comes out hysterical. Full House uses this culture clash to its advantage. The best way I can describe this advantage is magic.
Jesse's grandparents have come to the Tanner house to celebrate their 50th anniversary. They bring a few surprise guests: Jesse's cousin's daughter Melina (played by the other Olson twin), Elaina and her brother Sylvio. Elaina sticks to Jesse like glue and Sylvio starts to romance DJ. Fun stuff. There was some Greek ritual about walking around the table in matrimony, so Jesse has been married to Elaina since he was 14, and DJ and Sylvio just got married. The Greeks think it is wonderful while Danny and Becky greatly disapprove. Will they all live happily ever after?
I guess one of the reasons I love this episode is because I am Italian-very close to Greek. The overly physical stuff and passionate personalities happen all the time. I could really relate to it. Even if I didn't, I would still have a fun time with this episode.
